my favorite Detroit artist of ALL TIME. ALL TIME. {(c) Kanye West} i could listen to the Rapture album every day and not tire of it. seriously. this song is just magic, from her very first note. the way she hits the word "me" in the first few seconds of this song is one of the purest notes ever recorded. it gives me chills every time. as for the song itself...it's killer. you think it's a soft little ballad, but nope! there are drum fills, guitar attacks, dramatic silences, sweeping ebbs, and not one dull moment. ...that is, unless you hate 80s saxophone solos, lol.
